Documentation: If You Didn’t Write it Down, IT DIDN’T
HAPPEN!!!
Presented
by Dr. Kirk A. Lee
Proper
documentation has become one of the most critical issues
facing the chiropractic community. With the latest report
from the OIG, chiropractic documentation – despite the
gains made in the past few years – remains under the
highest scrutiny.
Join Dr.
Kirk A. Lee – a member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of
Michigan PPO Credentialing Committee – for this
informational webinar on the documentation facts you need
to know to protect your practice from costly errors, claim
delays, billing reviews, fraud investigations, and other
pitfalls.
Dr. Lee
will impart the documentation requirements for Medicare
and Blue Cross, and show you where to find them. He will
also relay the latest documentation guidelines from the
ACA, and where this information can be found online.
Dr. Lee
will stress that it is the information – not the format of
the information (SOAP, etc.) – that is important.
Remember: If you didn’t document it, it didn’t happen!
Dr. Kirk Lee, a 1980
graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, is a former
Michigan Chiropractic Society president who serves on the
post-graduate faculties of both Parker and Palmer
Colleges. He lives and practices in Albion. He currently
serves on the MAC Legal Affairs and Education & Programs
committees.
