MAC District Information
As we transition into the
MAC, new districts have been formed. Following are the new district
representatives who will be reporting to the Board and organizing local
district meetings. Please contact your district representative for
information about upcoming meetings, and we will publish this information as
it is provided to the MAC office.
The division of Districts
is based on the population and number of DCs in each district with the
geographic size of the districts given consideration. These districts will allow
for equal representation of the DCs of Michigan, with most DCs being within easy
driving distance to district meetings.
Because of its large geographical size,
District 8 DC members may elect to have
sub-districts, to
facilitate the accessibility of meetings.
The new Districts are
comprised of the following counties (please click on the map to find
your current District Updates and your District representatives):
-
District 1: Wayne, Monroe
-
District 2: Macomb, Lapeer,
St. Clair, Sanilac, Huron
-
District 3: Oakland
-
District 4: Ingham,
Jackson, Hillsdale, Livingston, Washtenaw, Lenawee
-
District 5: Isabella,
Gratiot, Clinton, Midland, Bay, Saginaw, Shiawassee, Tuscola, Genesee
-
District 6: Allegan, Van
Buren, Berrien, Cass, Barry, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, Eaton, Calhoun, Branch
-
District 7: Oceana,
Muskegon, Ottawa, Newaygo, Kent, Mecosta, Montcalm, Ionia
-
District 8: All other
Michigan Counties
A Board of Directors (BOD),
comprised of two representatives from each District, the Past President,
President, and Vice President, will govern the affairs of the new
organization. Out of state members are considered to be District 9,
and should contact the MAC office for any questions.
