Information on Proposed Chiropractic Administrative Rule Changes to the Approval of Continuing Education Programs in Michigan
We have received some questions from Michigan chiropractors regarding proposed changes to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic’s Administrative Rules governing the procedure for getting CE programs approved in our state. The BOC Rules Committee Work Group arrived at this solution after extensive research of applicable models across the country and keeping in mind their desire to keep the approval process within the state of Michigan. Their proposal subsequently passed the full BOC.
We believe that these needed changes will continue to protect the public and provide Michigan chiropractors with quality continuing education programs, while eliminating the burdensome continuing education review process currently employed by the State of Michigan.
