Fall 2022 Convention // Events
Opening Session and Annual Meeting
Friday, September 23: 7-8p
Our keynote speakers, MAC Legal Affairs Chair Dr. Dan Spencer and SecureCare’s Lou Andersen, will discuss SecureCare’s cutting edge approach to utilization management. As you know, Blue Cross has contracted with SecureCare® to manage chiropractic and select conservative physical medicine outpatient services for Blue Cross commercial and Medicare Plus Blue members. This partnership began July 5, 2022. Dr. Spencer and Mr. Anderson will provide an update on how it’s going and what Michigan chiropractors can expect moving forward.
This will also serve as our Annual Meeting, so come and learn from your leadership the important issues facing the profession in the Mitten State. MAC President Dr. Lisa Olszewski will give her final “State of the MAC” address, and several awards, including the Chiropractor of the Year, Community Champion Award, the Visionary Award, and the Rising Star Award, will be presented. You will want to join your dedicated colleagues at this member appreciation meeting! 1 CE possible.

The MAC silent auction is back! Our incredible exhibitors and sponsors have donated some excellent items, and this year Prestige Authentics will also be on site with their awesome collection! Prestige travels across the nation with their silent auction items, helping organizations like the MAC maximize our donations. Their items include sports, entertainment, and even presidential memorabilia, and includes such items as autographed guitars, helmets, jerseys, purses, fine jewelry, and much more! Make sure you check out everything they have to offer!
Also, walk through the Hall and see the prizes donated by our exhibitors. Be sure to ask vendors if they have silent auction prizes, or if they are doing their own in-booth door prize drawings. Check the MAC website for prizes and additional information.
